Temple Time!!

Amidst all of the wonderful family news (Chris & Miss' wedding and acquisition of Mellow, C&D's Principessa, Christmas, etc.) let's not overlook Melissa big event on this Saturday, 20 December. Min will go through the Seattle Temple for her own Endowment. This is a big deal for which we can all be VERY proud of Min Mouse!!!

WHAT IS UP?

Well I'll tell you... since NO ONE ever updates the blog of death, Ill take it upon myself to do it... but dont get mad if you're not on it because these are the pics I have...

First of all Kimmie and Richard have officially moved to Washington of death, except Richard went back to San Diego for a while. Kimmie got a job at Dr. Mitchell's optometry office and is waiting patiently for Richard to get his act together and come back to the rain.




Second of all we have all been actively awaiting the nuptuals of Melissa and Chris. Workin 9 to 5 to get things done... what are we going to do when all the wedding's are over? Invitations are in the mail, and for all of those who cannot come make sure you still send a present! We love everyone.

Thanksgiving was a success! We spent wed night making new traditions such as calling Chrisitie and Daniel to sing Celebrate me home, and also checking out a new burger joint... Kailey and dad ate a kangaroo burger! Thursday Kimmie made dinner for the kids while dad ran off to St.George to meet some woman, and mom went to her husbands families. We spent the whole day chillin, eating, and... that's about it! Lovely day!



So now we are officially in Christmas/ wedding mode. The day after Thanksgiving we put up mom's decorations. We are excited to find out the sex of the Lott baby here pretty soon (if you havent made your guess yet, comment on the last post) And we're even more excited to celebrate all the fun at the end of December (can we say CHOCOLATE PARTY!)

DUB DEE is going to be a girl!!!!!!!!!! When she is she is going to be named Sa-wah Shell (Sarah Michelle). If by some freak accident she is a boy then he will be named Zeez Al (Zeezrom Allan). Have a good day!

TWO DOWN... ONE TO GO!

Kimmie's married! Last weekend everyone congregated in San Diego for the nuptuals of daughter number two and her sexy man Richard. Everything turned out great, and we had a BLAST seeing everyone and being together. Only two Conner girls left...

Thank you everyone who came, it wouldn't have been the same without you!

We have a new addition to the Connerclan slash Lott clan. Christie and Daniel have decided to get the baby train rollin with our cute little dub dee (WD... Ill give you ten dollars if you can guess what that stands for!) (by the way, Christie is tryin to nick name it peanut, but you know the name you are against is always the one that sticks! HA)

Anyway, baby Lott is due in May... its gonna come super early as not to disturbe Kimmie's birthday thunder... due May 12th to be exact... We're thrilled to get our first niece/ nephew/ grandchild. Congrats you two!!

So here I am in Washington thinking I'm going to have a boring semester but I have soo much on my plate. By the way.. I feel like we all suck with keeping in touch cough cough Christie and Dad Cough..mainly because I don't really know whats going on with anyone. So I got a job as a nanny for a 3 month old baby. Its going alright...only 3 days a week but 12 hours a day..it should be interesting. Then working at the Gap on Fridays and Saturdays..then saturday nights to mondays evenings I will get to see Chris. Plus I gotta sneak in time to work on the internship and work on ideas for mine and Kimmie's weddings. I need help!!!!!! I have no idea what I'm doing...we took the first round of engagement pics. They WERE MEANT TO BE SERIOUS AND MODEL STYLE. Frick...everyone keeps commenting on that. The next round are gonna be cute and lovie dovie. Geez people..keep up with the times. Hennyway..I love all. I'll post some pics!

Dad's Travels....

First, good job on the recent posts! Keep 'em commin'....

My September travels started on the 6th and will go until at least the 26th. Salt lake on the 6th for a date to the rodeo...Nashville on the 7th to do workshops the 8th-11th...Fort Worth that evening to be the first guest in Daniel's & Kiki's guest room...GREAT VISIT....went to First Command the next day, lunch with Marnie at Cousins,

then out for 2 Fork Cheesecake at Salt Grass with my hosts.

Left early the next morning so as to not get stranded by hurricane Ike...flew to Phoenix for a lunch date then an evening with Barry, Janis, & Alex. Chi town on Sunday for 2 weeks of workshop I will be teaching for the first time. During the weekend - dates to see Wicked and the Bears/Bucs football game. I'm not quite sure where I'll go when I leave here on the 26th.....

I'm getting married!

This weekend we all congregated in Washington for Christie and Daniel's wedding. It was an awesome weekend, super fun, emotional and stressful, but great all the same. The happy couple was sealed in the Seattle Temple on Saturday and are now off on their honeymoon in Cancun. CONGRATS YOU GUYS... and Daniel, welcome to the family!

Kimmie's Update

Im about to explode and Im having a major anxiety attack. I could not be more happy that school is officially over for the rest of the summer (did I tell you that I was in charge of the entire summer graduation ceremony... by myself... if one more parent yells at me because their kid is super stupid for failing summer school...) We are supposedly getting out engagement pictures taken tomorrow (we will see if that happens) so I got my hair cut today... 6 inches! and they measured it and my hair is still 23 inches long... I have to prepare my lesson for tomorrow not to mention read this entire book I was supposed to be reading for my temple prep class... and Im so stressed out I cant even bring myself to sit up out of bed... its pretty hard typing without sitting up by the way... I need a vacation from my life.

Kailey's Update

I finished learning my hip hop dance. I got a new phone awhile ago(envy 2)I didn't eat top ramen since utah until 2day. That's like a record. I'm getting new converse that i designed online for high school. Purple and gold. but they didn't have gold so yellow. And on the side they say shs 2012. My last report card of middle school was good. A, B, A, A, A,A. yep scottee got a new job if no one heard. We r all switching rooms in this house. Nephi get's mine. Guest room or melissa's room is esthers. And esther and i are sharing nephi's room. But we get to decorate it. Colors are... pink, yellow, orange, and lime green. it looks awesome so far. But that's all i have 2 say.

I'm in AZ until at least the end of July. A landed a new project today in Seattle that will probably last through October. I may move there after biz is done here in AZ.
It is, of course, a blast living close to the Cox gang. Lolo has a big hearing today (Friday the 18th) so let's all pray for her. Alex is out of jail and will probably return to Queen Creek next week.

And I still need a job and an internship...someone find me one. Thank you please!

This is Min Mouse....

Well...I just finished all my finals and I'm packing up to move again!!!! I am driving to Washington on Friday and I will be with Chris in Marysville for the weekend. Then I'll head down to Bonney Lake where I will be for the fall semester. I am not looking forward to driving but I am looking forward to seeing some family..and I want to see the new batman movie! Happy Birthday to Christie! Lovies!

It's Memorial Day!

We love to honor those who have served our country and especially those who have been required to serve in combat. There is one person in my generation that has served in combat - he is a decorated war hero that risked his life to save the lives of his brothers in combat. CONG Recipe

Soften 1 cup of butter or margarine and combine it real well with 2 1/4 cups of brown sugar.
Add 2 eggs (the original recipe calls for 3 - try it to see it you like it)
Add vanilla - maybe a Tablespoon - mix all of that really well.

Combine 2 3/4 cups of flour, I Tablespoon of baking POWDER, and some salt - maybe a teaspoon. Combine those dry ingredients with the mix of butter, sugar, etc...

Add choccy chips - whatever kind you like. How many?? Idunno... a couple of handfulls (when you take a finger swipe of dough, there should be at least one choccy chip, or you don't have enough in the mix)

Eat dough.

Bake whatever is left at 375 degrees until it starts to turn golden brown - usually 15-20 minutes.

Just for fun... we forgot to mention the fact that Scottee finally has his OWN CAR!!! after months of searching and dealing, Scottee found a car worthy of his time and attention. A car that is his to do with what he would like... Now that he has it all tricked out, he of course is in the market for another new project car... go figure. But congrats Scottee on your new arrival!

I hate being sick!

Just so everyone knows... I have an infection in my lungs called pluresy. So after sitting in urgent care for three hours, and after blood tests and a chest xray, the doctor is like "so you have an infection called plursey, so just take some ibruprofen for the inflammation and you should be fine in a couple of weeks." ummm, hello! am I just supposed to not breathe until then? and then today the coughing kicked in... Im not even going to be able to enjoy the 85 degree weather this weekend!

Dad's April - early May

GREAT job on the blog Kimbooboo!

Min Mouse will be with me for her break from BYUI 12-19 April - more congs and steak!

I will be in AZ Apr 16-18. On the 17th I will go down to Tucson to checkout new business opportunities with Teressa Fenison and her fiance, Joep Breek. The rest of the time I will be with the Cox gang - preparing for the likely move there the next week.

Yes, my next move is scheduled for Queen Creek, AZ. I plan to leave Murray on Wed the 23rd, stop in to see the Southwicks, then arrive in Queen Creek on the 24th. I plan to be there until the end of June. Then??

On Sat the 26th I'll fly to WA, spend the weekend hopefully with Scottee & Kake, then teach a workshop in Seattle for PEMCO insurance company Mon-Fri. I'll stay there Sat. then fly to Chicago for 2 days of business, then Fort Worth for a day of business and visit with Kiki.

Aunt Teresa's birthday is this Saturday the 12th, then Kitty's is the 16th.

Kimbooboo's bday is our next one in the immediate family on the May 15!

A sad note - my cousin John Angel died last week from the long term effects of several health complications. He was a couple of years younger than me.

Conference Weekend

We had yet another great weekend together... Conference was wonderful, snowboarding was successful, and we got to be all together for the first time in four years! we love that!
